It was amazingly busy and the staff was always bustling and checking in. We finally returned to dine in and we're looking forward to drinks and food. The hostess let us take a look around inside and we were enamored. We stopped here after covid shit things down and they had a pop-up kitchen for takeout. My shrimp was $25.where can you eat like that in Chicago? Trivoli will be on our standards list every time we visit Chicago. Whoever this this place is pricy is nuts. Other friend had the fish and chips which he said was really good. Delicious! My wife had the Orrichetti which was AMAZING. I had the Shrimp Scampi, the shrimp were large, fresh and not overpoweringly garlicy.

She was right on, it was delicious as well. We were looking at the house salad and she suggested the half portion instead of the whole. We went with friends and we did not have any issue talking with each other. The restaurant is dark and the music is on the louder side but it is a supper club in the truest Midwest sense of the word. You are welcomed instantaneously as you arrive. Restaurant is in a cool part of town (West Loop). Usually packed so plan ahead and make a reservation. Haven't had it this good since London 4 years ago. Classic steak/chops/seafood with some worldly fusion I would say.Off to a great start and when I got to the food I was blown away! We were there for brunch and here's how it breaks down *Drinks - Bellini - Tini - well balanced, espresso martini - spot on*pigs in a blanket - flaky comfort food*Wagyu burger w/bacon - wow amazingly juicy and the bacon is thick but melt in your mouth delicious. As you review the menu it's hard to place a theme. Host and servers are trained and engaged in providing good service. Truly is mesmerizing as you spot the regal chairs and large chandeliers. Like you just walked into a Chicago tavern in the 40's. The house's new version of an old standby is highly recommended, chocolate marble tiramisu with creme ets the hype! What a spot for date night as it starts on your walk up the romantic cobblestone.you question if you are still in the same city. For dessert, we shared large portions of key lime pie and banana caramel cream pie. But it's very difficult to turn down Chateaubriand, which rarely shows up on anybody's menu. It goes along with our more fish, less meat philosophy. I opted for Stone Oven roasted Branzino with lemon, jalapeno extra virgin olive oil, roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. For her entree, my wife chose Dover Sole with mashed potatoes and spinach. We started with tomato bisque, shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad with romaine, croutons, tomatoes, parmesan and Caesar dressing. On this occasion, we passed up one of our favorite items, Chateaubriand for Two with grilled vegetables and bearnaise sauce, in favor of two of our favorite seafood dishes. on Sunday, Tavern on Rush features one of the most accommodating menus we have seen. Sunday brunch outdoors amounts to a fashion statement. Located at 1031 North Rush Street, in the heart of Chicago's dynamic restaurant row at the intersection of Rush, State and Bellevue, the ill-named Viagra Triangle, it is a lively, upscale restaurant that serves steakhouse fare with nightly DJs and outdoor seating.
